15 years!

Our show at Homegrown was a lot of fun. We really enjoyed the great audience and singing with Low was a sweet and memorable experience.

Up next – our end of year concert. This year marks the end of my fifteenth year as director of Sing! I started the chorus in the fall of 1999 because I had music I wanted to do, and I missed singing with a group of women like I did when I was a Girl Scout back in high school. It just keeps getting better and better. I’ve learned a lot along the way, and made a lot of good friends, and a fair amount of good music.

I hope you can join us for this special concert at The Underground. The Underground is in the Depot here in Duluth, it’s a great newer venue, should be perfect for us. Thanks to Caitlin Dettmann for this kicka** poster.

About Sing! A Women's Chorus

Founded in 1999 by director Mags David, Sing! A Women’s Chorus is based in the Duluth Public Schools Community Education program. This ensemble is open to all registrants. Music is learned through the oral tradition, allowing singers at all levels of experience to participate. We sing traditional music from the U.S., Europe, and West Africa, and original songs written for the chorus by Mags David.
