Feeling a little rusty?

Well, we haven’t sung together in about three weeks, and I’m feeling a little rusty even though I got in some singing on my own. But, class starts up again this Wednesday, February 26 and then we go straight through the 2nd of April.

The chorus is doing a wonderful job of learning and touching up the songs. I think sometimes the singers are running a bit ahead of me – there are a few things I’d like to put together for us to sing before the end of the year. All in due time.

Meanwhile, scout the skies for a sign of spring.

About Sing! A Women's Chorus

Founded in 1999 by director Mags David, Sing! A Women’s Chorus is based in the Duluth Public Schools Community Education program. This ensemble is open to all registrants. Music is learned through the oral tradition, allowing singers at all levels of experience to participate. We sing traditional music from the U.S., Europe, and West Africa, and original songs written for the chorus by Mags David.
