Dark Swallows Day

The Duluth Does Low concert was a blast. Shout outs to some acts that were especially fabulous: Toby Thomas Churchill, American Rebels, Fuzzy Ellis, Timothy Martin and the New Norm, Sarah Krueger.

The chorus lays low for this dark season to rest, reflect, and stoke the fires. We’ll be looking for new singers in the session that begins January 22. Check out the Join tab on this site.

Here’s a little music to take you through the dark days.

Dark Swallows Day – words and music by Mags David

About Sing! A Women's Chorus

Founded in 1999 by director Mags David, Sing! A Women’s Chorus is based in the Duluth Public Schools Community Education program. This ensemble is open to all registrants. Music is learned through the oral tradition, allowing singers at all levels of experience to participate. We sing traditional music from the U.S., Europe, and West Africa, and original songs written for the chorus by Mags David.
