Homegrown here we come

Sing! had a great experience singing before the Take Back the Night march last Thursday. What a great and important event, and it was quite a rush to sing outside at the busy corner of Lake and Superior.

The Duluth Homegrown Music Festival starts this week. It is one of the best weeks in Duluth. So many musicians, so much excitement, it is truly a festival. Sing! is honored to lend our voices to the great big wall of sound that is the Duluth music community. I’ll be doing my best to stay up late and get to as many performances I can. Hope to see you at our performance, Saturday, May 4, 7:00pm at Teatro Zuccone, 222 E Superior St.

About Sing! A Women's Chorus

Founded in 1999 by director Mags David, Sing! A Women’s Chorus is based in the Duluth Public Schools Community Education program. This ensemble is open to all registrants. Music is learned through the oral tradition, allowing singers at all levels of experience to participate. We sing traditional music from the U.S., Europe, and West Africa, and original songs written for the chorus by Mags David.
