Great news

I’m so excited. Sing! has been invited to participate in Sowah Mensah’s upcoming concert with the UMD Percussion Ensemble. We’ll be performing along with Darin Bergsven and his students from Harbor City International School and the UMD percussionists in a large ensemble. We will be performing Sowah’s arrangement of Bawa for Ghanaian xylophones, percussion and singers. It is a fabulous piece of music and I feel so privileged to be a part of this.

The concert is 7:30pm, Friday, April 5 at Weber Music Hall on the UMD campus. Word is that the UMD percussionists are excellent musicians. This should be an outstanding.
