Dark Swallows Day

I can’t believe this fall session is over so soon. I had a wonderful time with all of the new singers, and as always I love to sing with everyone. The returning singers have really brought their best to the singing this fall and the chorus sounds fabulous!

We’re heading into that dark season and will be taking five weeks off. I like to lay low while the sun is resting – a little time for reflection, rest, and recovery. But never fear we will be singing on New Year’s Eve day! So that really only means four weeks off.

Join us at Beaner’s Central New Year’s Eve Marathon 7:00am (yep! a.m.) Monday, December 31.

About Sing! A Women's Chorus

Founded in 1999 by director Mags David, Sing! A Women’s Chorus is based in the Duluth Public Schools Community Education program. This ensemble is open to all registrants. Music is learned through the oral tradition, allowing singers at all levels of experience to participate. We sing traditional music from the U.S., Europe, and West Africa, and original songs written for the chorus by Mags David.
